Within Europe, SIN focuses primarily on science policy issues and on facilitating collaboration and innovation.
SIN - Berne works with UK stakeholders, local Swiss partners and SIN colleagues elsewhere in Europe on targeted activities, designed to facilitate science collaboration and R&D business deals.
SIN Berne provides help in:
- Analysis and reporting on science and technology developments and policy context in Switzerland;
- Identifying key contacts and bringing together opinion formers and experts;
- Arranging Science and Innovation events, missions and visits to study particular sectors;
- Raising awareness in Switzerland of UK Science and Innovation policy and achievements;
- Developing R & D links for the UK science base.
