The British Embassy in Berne provides full consular, nationality and consular sevices for the whole of Switzerland except for the Cantons of Geneva, Vaud, Valais and Fribourg.

Persons requiring such services in these four cantons should contact the British Consulate-General in Geneva on the above telephone number.

Visas for the UK are issued in Switzerland at the British Consulate-General only. Applicants should check the Visa info services website for more information.

British nationals who are resident in Switzerland are advised that all British passports are now processed by the British Consulate-General in Paris. Full details on how to apply can be found on the UK in Paris website.
